how about for the license plate light? is t 194/168/T10/158 wedge bulb?

is there any DIY how to install that? is there an access outside or gotta remove the plastic covering inside?

 

It's a 5W W5W bulb. Here is the link to the owners manual. Mazda does a better job then most with explaining DIY stuff.

thanks! but it doesn't show what type of bulbs though.. planning to replace it with LED's.. (Dome, Map, Trunk/Cargo Area, License Plate, Back-up/Reverse lights). i checked sylvania but not sure if 2013 has the same set-up like 2015.

 

The bulb specs are toward the back and the DIY section has a picture of the bulb. I am not 100 percent certain, but do believe that there is no difference between the 13 and 15. The manuals are on line at the official Mazda site.

 

My 15 has plastic round guards between the DRLs and the Hi/Lo beams. Is this new as they don't appear in the owners manual and if not, how did you see what you were doing during the install?
