Default CX5 Transmission Issues

New here, have a 2022 CX5 non turbo. Have had numerous transmission issues with this car.
hard shifting, lurching forward while in drive with foot on the brake at a stop light.
has been in for service at least 4 times, new valve body, several reprogrammings, and a week later same thing. Anyone else have this issue?

Looks like your dealer is unable to figure it out. I would find another Mazda dealer and see if they can get you sorted out. The Mazda 6 speed is known to be a very good transmission, way better than the Jatco or Ford trans they used years ago.

Default 2022 CX5 - Same Issues

YES! I have this same issue with my 2022 CX5. I've had it to the dealer several times, and also had a reprogramming done, but it is still doing the things you mentioned. My service tech looks at me like I'm crazy. He just says that "nothing is coming up on the computer", but I know something just is not right. My car has lurched forward several times when I've had my foot on the brake at a traffic light, and I've actually thought that I was rear-ended. Does anyone know what's going on?

You did not mention if when you took it to Mazda if they could recreate or had it happen?

If the ECU does not show any information relating to your description and the actual physical concern you encounter is not duplicated what exactly do you think would be the results? Posible them looking at you like you are crazy, or maybe that they don't have any service related information to help you at this time because no indicator?

My sugestion if you are that caoncerned that you with your own money go to a specifaled transmission shop and have them attempt to diagniso the concern you have. Most all are better equipt both with service experence and with dignostic and test equiptment generall for automatic transmission trouble shooting.

Please do not expect Mazda to except there findings or pay for this independent service .

If they've worked on it 3+ times it may fall under your State Lemon Law! In Indiana they have 3 times to repair the problem.
