Cx5 misfire on cylinder 1 never goes away
Yeah, I believe the codes for that are P0300 to P0308 but don't hold me to it.
He states he was getting a "P0301" but nowhere does he mention he replaced or checked the fuel injector.
And as you said injectors that old, are generally far from optimal anyway.

This is a great example of a P0301, P030? etc., can have no less then 10 parts or components that can cause an ECU to generate the P0301 DTC. And if it is a P0300 then it can be dozens or more?
This also goes with many other DTCs as well. DTC's are only a tool to the process to testing and elimination .
