I have a 2013 diesel where the engine gets rough, noisy and vibrates between 1200 and 2000 revs and smoothes off thereafter. It is most annoying and my local dealer after investigating says they can do nothing about it. Anny suggestions please ?

 

Is it when the engines hot? or Cold? or on very 1st start up?

 

Problem is most aparent when it is warm and running. It is smooth below 1200 revs, then it goes rough and noisier then, at around 2000 revs it smooths out, quietens down and pulls well.
