I was going to post my MPG but thought someone would go BS & NFW!!! LOL
But I did post it once the thread and responses is still around and I explained exactly how I achieved it.

 

I could make the OP feel better by posting my wife's usual fuel economy, but she only drives the car 2 miles a day and it doesn't fully warm up either on the drive out or the drive back. She also wants to drive the route with the stop lights instead of the slightly longer, but faster one without them. I try to take it out at least once a week to run it a bit and get it up to a good engine and transmission temp for a half hour or more, but it gets to be a PITA. The vehicle is a 2014 CX5 GT and hasn't quite turned 60,000 yet.

 

Considering a modern car is only around 25% efficient that leaves 75% used to overcome friction and dynamic losses so yea my guess it will improve with time.
