I hope they hold up. But at $150 a set I can replace them every several years if need be. Mfg claims many years of life. Hope so.

 

My 2010 Mazda 3 Sport Grand Touring has Graphite Mica metallic paint with clear coat. It has held up nicely. My 2016.5 CX-5 Pearl White paint however has some chips that were "repaired" with what looks like non-pearl white and a few down to the metal. I've read that the paints don't hold up well but my experience is that it does. I've heard that the Soul Red is difficult to match if there's an accident but since you are looking at the gray colors, I think you will be fine.

 

Is your soul red vehicle kept in a garage?

 

Maybe I am an outlier but I have a dark blue 2017 and it dents every time a door touches it and the paint is pretty good but not great. For context I have a 2009 Audi that cosmetically looks better and that I treat like crap because it’s so old.

 

MIne is white so swirls might be hidden a bit but so far no chips on the car.
