CX-5 MY2014 Diesel P0401 recurring
The vehicle inspection light is on, scanned to be P0401.
No symptoms were noticed.
It is so annoy, so searched the internet to clearn EGR system, and intake ports.
Took to the local mechanic to clean the external EGR valve, EGR cooler, and EGR pipes. But he was saying ports are hard to clean so did not touch it.
After he reassembled everything back, then ran for like 50KM, the code P0401 throw up again.
Note 3 years ago i had the same problem, and clearned at dealer including the ports by walnut blaster etc.
Should i just drive with the inspection light on, or should i definitely get the ports cleaned as well, or something else need to replace the EGR valve completely.
