Default CX 5 2020 2,2 Diesel. Possible problems?

Hallo, I am new to this forum, and I would appreciate your help.
I´m considering buying a above mentioned car. I wanted to know if maybe the issues with diesel motors are, since 2020, resolved?
I like Mazda. Using one right now. 2015 2.0 petrol awd... very satisfied. Would like a diesel, but would not like making a wrong investement.
Thank you all in advance
Looking forward to your advices

I'd avoid the diesel like the plague. It's just an extremely flawed engine that tends to have a lot of issues. You can even view the issues if you search in this forum. Stick with the gas/petrol motors.

We have a 2021 CX-5 diesel in the shop with a blown head gasket.

@grim_reaper
thank You, good Sir
because of all Your advices, I've decided not to buy Mazda diesel.
Instead, I've bought Tucson 2020 1.6 CRDI HTRAC.
Was a good decision, hopefully

Unfortunately Hyundais are terrible and they have wayyy too many engine issues. Here in the states there's been so many lawsuits worth hundreds of millions of dollars for people who have had their Hyundai/Kia engines blow up or burn oil prematurely.

Default Well, bleimey

Can You point the articles where I can read more about the experiences about Hyundai cars? Maybe it's not too late to make things right? 🥴
