Apple CarPlay

I have a 2016 Mazda CX5 and I’m wondering how to get apple CarPlay setup in the car. Which unit/kit is best? About how much should it cost a stereo place to install? Any info is appreciated!

You either DIY or pay Mazda to install it. I bought my kit off AliExpress.

Thanks for the reply. I’m looking for something quality that will really last - not that AliExpress items won’t, hah. Does the dealership install 3rd party units obtained by the customer? Or do they actually have add on CarPlay modules to sell for her car? Thanks

You could probably go to CarToys and have them install it. Get wireless CarPlay I hear it's way cool with an aftermarket headunit. Not sure if you have nav so that may be an issue.

She does have the standard navigation unit that came with the car. Still, not sure of which unit would be best?? Some suggestions that people know works for her setup?
