Good Morning, is the only way to get Apple Car Play in the 2019 CX 5 Sport is through the dealership?

 

Isn't it standard on the 2019 models?

 

I have a 2019 Sport and it did not come standard on mine.

 

Standard on Touring trim and up, I believe. Probably can be added to the Sport trim (for additional cost). Some have done it themselves, but it may be safer to have the dealer install it. Just my $.02 so do what you feel comfortable doing.

FWIW, it was too expensive for me to pay $400 to get Apple Carplay through the dealership upgrade. Also, I read that it might mess up Mazda's own navigation system my car came with. Hence, I just got a good magnetic vent phone holder and attach my iPhone to it and get the sound through bluetooth.
