Default Any new features on 24’ cx-5?

Hey guys, I know this is early on in the model year and may not be many owners yet, but curious if anybody has the 24 model, I just bought one and the dealer said it had wireless Apple CarPlay as a new feature, which I am finding no such thing on the car. want to see if anybody else sees any changes at all. Thanks

iStop has once again reared its' ugly head. I would not necessarily say it is new or a feature, but it is there.

It's another version of Stop/Start (when fully braked for more than a few seconds, the engine will cut off and come back on when you let go of the brake again). I think most would agree that Stop/Start sucks and makes driving cars feel horrible with negligible savings in fuel. It usually has to be turned off EVERY time you start the car up. They also added touchscreens to the 10.25" screen, and most people had severe ghost touch issues on the 2020 and older models with the smaller screens. It's just another reason to stick with a '21-'23 model.

yea i agree that feature sucks on any car. I know one thing these sales guys that sell these things need to learn the product and not tell customers a new model year has certain features and they dont. 🤦‍♂️

Doesn't help you now but I tell people never to take for granted what a salesperson tells you.
I've found more than a few who have little knowledge of the product they are selling especially when it comes to vehicles.
If a dealer tells you a "new vehicle" has a particular feature, make sure you verify it does have it and that it works.
It much easier to do at that point than it is to try and sort it out afterwards.

Agreed, I do the research myself and often end up educating the salesperson on the cars features (i.e. on my '21 GTR the salesperson didn't know the turbo models had larger front rotors than the NA engine cars). I am not aware of any changes for '24 other than adding a new version of the Carbon edition with Zircon Sand paint and the turbo motor. According to the Mazda website 24's offer wireless AA/CP on Premium Plus trim and above. I don't see any mention of iStop on the website, which I hope is accurate.
