Default After Winter Clean Up

Just wanted to inform those 2020 and other CX-5 owners about after winter clean up.
By after winter, I'm talking about those of us who live in freezing climates where a mixture of salt and sand is used on the roads.
The salt is a killer here on just about everything especially suspension and break components.
I've noticed my 2020 CX-5 (and likely other models) has areas that need special attention or will likely see premature rusting.
Rear wheels hold a large amount of material, today I measured 1/4" inch (.635cm) to 1/2" inch (1.27cm) of build-up in the wheel well.
It was even thicker on the upper inside and took over 5 minutes of high pressure washing for one wheel well before the water ran clear.
The inside bottom of the doors also tend to hold copious amounts of salt/sand..
The most hidden issue is under the hood where I found numerus areas of dried salt deposits in multiple spots.
Keep in mind that during the winter my vehicle gets washed at least every other week at a heated touchless car wash which also has undercarriage spray.
I wish I'd gotten some pictures but alas I did not..
