Hi. I just bought 2020 Cx-5 GT and wondering if anyone else thinking of upgrading 7 inch screen to 8 inch that comes standard on turbo models.

I wonder if 8 inch screen part is available and if upgrade process will be just replacing the screen part.

Any insights? Thanks!

 

A better question is what would this cost? Is it worth it for such a slight increase in size?

 

Man I just hate to see large blank bezel areas around the screen lol.

If you're looking for a larger screen, the '21s now have a 10" screen. Just thinkin....

 

No, I did not replace my 7 incher to 8 yet. I want to check the compatibility before ordering anything. I am sorta certain the screens would be crosscompatible. Not too sure on 10 inch ones as they might of redesigned the whole dash.

Anyone have an input?

 

2020 comes with 8" in europe, sure you dont have 8", 2019 comes with 7"

 

The 2021 GTR at least comes with a 10.3 inch screen. My salesman was surprised when he looked at it..was their first 2021 delivered. You can check online, but they did increase the screen size for 2021s

 

As for US, 2020 comes with 7 inch lcd unless engine is turbo. 2021 is 10+ inches though.
