Hello all, new 2026 CX-5 SE. Driver profile name is ‘YOU’ and says signed in as Admin. I believe this was set up at dealership when I purchased the car. The option to Edit profile is on the same screen but not available. When I click on Add New Profile I get a message that ‘this is a managed vehicle and a new profile will also be managed. Contact Admin.’

Can anyone explain why I can’t edit the name of my current ‘YOU’ profile and what is a managed vehicle?

In the context of the 2026 Mazda CX‑5 SE’s Mazda Connect infotainment system, a “managed vehicle” means that the vehicle’s settings, user profiles, and certain system functions are controlled or restricted by an administrator or dealership account rather than being fully customizable by the owner.
You will need to go to your dealer to change that.
If you are leasing, using a fleet, business, corporation CX-5 you will likely not be able to get it changed.
