Considering trading in my 23 for a 25 CX5 - Premim Plus - Does anyone know if the heads up display is able to be shut off - without needing to shut it off after every time you recycle the system - stop - restart - stop /. I in fact found i-stop is on the PREMIM PLUS - but can be defetaed a number of ways - hood latch sensor being one / Thanks for the help

 

Put a cloth in the hole of the HUD.
But why would you want to turn off the HUD?

 

No Reason - Its actually pretty good-- I wasnt sure if it was a distraction

I love my HUD.

We have it in our 2022 Sonata limited as well (you can change HUD color on that one).

Yes, you can turn it off in settings.

OR, just change the display positioning angle so it’s out of sight.
