2024 CX5 wool seat covers
Alot of generic wool seat covers out there (ebay, repco and supercheap) but unsure if they would suit my CX5 - anybody tried them and can recommend them to me
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
Baaaaahhhhhddddd....
At least in my opinion.
But then I had to wear the wool sweaters my grandmother knitted for me, itched and sweated all day long in school
If you search hard enough you will find there are custom fit makers for the CX-5 but the start around $300 (US dollars) per seat.

Welcome to the forum
I remember when sheep skin covers were in. I thought these are so ugly/fugly. But I sold literally thousands of dollars worth of them every month. Then I broke down and installed a set in my 1979 MGB Limited and understood why so many wanted them. Fugly looking or not they were so comfortable.

I think that's a personal problem. My wife and daughter hate wool as it makes them itch. I love it because it's warm and will wear a wool shirt with no undershirt and no problems. I used to love the Army's woolie-pullies. I still have one around that doesn't have campfire burnholes in it, but it no longer fits because I am about 40 pounds heavier now than I was then.
If you've ever been camping and gotten completely soaked, you will be thankful if you have a wool jacket as opposed to a down one.
The wool will keep you warm but it's so heavy you can't move unless you're a body builder

But after having a tent literally "float away", even with a trench around it on one of my first camping adventures, I always packed rain gear thereafter.
And after one annual winter camping adventure that hit -22 degrees, I threw away my cotton sleeping bag and wool blanket and bought a waterproof Hollofil mummy bag with a separate fleece liner.
Then I got smart, and my camping adventures are now regulated to fully equipped cabins, hotels, motels.
I've done the same, but it's because my back has degenerated so far and I can't manage the camping any more. I miss it.
