2023 cx5 sign recognition
New cx5 traded 5 year old cx5 touring for 2023 Akera. Sign recognition says correctly at school zones but at rail crossings and some roundabouts and other random times it says speed camera ahead. Dealer is looking into it but has anyone encountered this problem?
You may need a software update to the TSR, but the dealer should have checked that.
From what I've read about the system it only recognizes stop, speed limit, and No Entry signs, nothing else.
Which would mean your system is working as it should.

But you may have different information than I have.
Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR) | Mazda Australia
Might have misled in this thread, it appears as the announcements of speed camera ahead is in the gps not the sign recognition system. Two different 2023 cx5 , but of different specks, both randomly announce speed camera ahead. Mine has had latest map updates done today but it is still the same. Turned the speech off for the time being until Mazda and their new supplier of the map system gets enough complaints to do something about it. Not happy but plenty of help from dealer.
Try again, the dealer says all models of the 2023 series announces speed camera ahead at random times. Reports sent to Mazda. Apparently it is in the sd card in the navagation. How many other cars are affected and how many reports have to be submitted before Mazda can rectify this annoying fault?
