Default 2022 touchscreen

I have a 2021 grand touring reserve and love the car with the exception of the ridiculously hard to navigate and understand non-touchscreen interface

Here’s the $64,000 question: will my car accept the 2022 touchscreen ? Or do I have to trade in my vehicle and spend thousands upon thousands of dollars to match its trim level just to get a touchscreen?

cheers dereck walton

As said above the '22 is the same screen you have now. The older '19s with the 7" and '20s with the 8" are touchscreen if you really need one.

It’s a training issue. If spending 30 minutes to learn how to use a new tool is too much trouble, then by all means spend thousands and thousands of dollars on a new vehicle with a “touch screen”.

Our 2018 CX-5 has touchscreen but frankly speaking I got used to the dial and do not touch the screen at all.

Apple car play will win and force Mazada to have a touch screen in the redesign.

Not sure about that since currently Apple Car Play works fine with the dial. To start with, the touchscreen in the CX-5 is too far away from the driver.
