You felt a genuine difference, it is not a placebo effect.
Good work

Here's the original plugs after 48k miles (in order from when I changed them from passenger side to driver side). Definitely noticed they were getting a bit fouled. I drove my car today for a couple of hours and it feels brand new again! Reminds me of the day I got it.

Actually the fueling looks good on your plugs and for the miles I would have to say no indicators of problems . They look look like well used plugs and serviced the engine well.

Considering how much I utilize the full power band of this car, they definitely served me well

lol well u likely returned about 3%+ of lost power from worn plugs That’s roughly about 5-6 hp.

Just wanted to follow up with something else I've noticed. My gas mileage has shot up considerably! On the highway I've gained +2-3 MPG on average. I was barely hitting 24-25 MPG before on the highway, but now the car gets 26 MPG easily. On longer trips I know it will increase even more .

Soooo now that you got your feet wet.... if you want to increase both power and MPG time to clean the MAP/MAS and air temperature sensors very easy job but you need to get the proper cleaner only to do this.

Then if you are feel good about your confidence level your TB (throtle body) needs to be cleaned. This is a little more involved but still very doable with simple DIY garage tools.

I'll definitely get to that at some point. What's a trusted cleaner that won't harm the sensor?

Thanks I'll grab a can. O'Reilly's has it on sale for $7.99 so I'll probably pick it up from there since it's like $12 everywhere else. The MAF sensor is here right?
