Default 2020 Mazda Cx5 GT - Control Arm Joints

I just bought a 2020 Mazda CX5 GT. It's not even 2 weeks old and guess what - the control arm joints are already rusted. This is not ok with me.

Does anybody else have any feedback on this? Anybody else have the sane problems? Straight off the lot and already rusted....

Rusted around bolt areas.

Completely normal.
From all my automotive experience, it's nothing to be concerned about.

So let me get this straight .

A car straight off the dealers lot brand spanking new with rust is ok to you? Not ok with me or anyone else spending $42,500 for a brand new rust machine.

You're quite delusional. Mazda Canada will be hearing from me right after I'm done with the dealership. Not gonna fly with me.

I took a look at my 2020 and also my Daughter's 2019, and I suspect that what you're looking at is not rust. Both of our vehicles have the exact same look as yours, and there are also a few other bolts near the ones in your pic which have a rust coloring but in a large and uniformly rounded area. I'm guessing it's some type of factory coating, although I have no idea why they would have chosen just those specific bolts to do this with. Doing it from a maintenance perspective isn't immediately obvious to me, but perhaps there's something I'm not thinking about with this.

I am sure this is the same on all CX-5's and other Mazdas. My 2011 Tacoma has had the same thing since I got it. No issues yet. I will be surprised if the dealer (or Mazda) does anything about it.

I'll be curious to hear what Mazda Canada has to say.
