Default 2019 cx5 maintenance schedule

I have a 2019 CX5 grand touring reserve AWD (Skyactiv-G 2.5T Turbo Engine). I live in New York.
As I'm approaching 40k miles, I brought it into the dealership where it was purchased for a service.
The advisor said I was due for a brake fluid flush. I said that when referring to the maintenance schedule, there is no mention of replacing the brake fluid at 40k miles. He showed me his schedule and I noticed that it said "Mexico" on top. When I mentioned that, he said it was the same, kind of dismissing me. Since I trust service advisors to be trained, I went ahead with the service, including his suggestion to have the brake fluid flushed.
So kinda confused, I looked up the maintenance schedule from the official Mazda website when I got home (I attached the pdf).
If I'm reading it correctly, schedule 2 (severe driving conditions for USA and Puerto Rico) says that brake fluid needs to be "inspected" at 40k miles, not automatically replaced, while the schedule for Mexico says to replace it at 40k km. Am I correct? Also, the schedule says that I was supposed to have had the spark plugs changed at this interval, as well. But the advisor didn't suggest this.
I'm just a bit confused here and wanted to know if I'm looking at things correctly. Did the service advisor make a mistake or am I not understanding the maintenance schedule for my car?

Both these service IMHO based on thousands of serviced vehicles are not only important but will maintain your Mazda in the best condition possible for power and MPG and braking. If you don't want to pay the dealer, find an independent service shop.

BTW your brake fluid will not show through testing to be in less-than-optimal condition at those miles and the spark plugs if tested on an oscilloscope at those miles waveform indicating less then best performance.

Debating the exact service scheduling is IMO ridicules.
But if you really want to go by information that is not always current and is subject to change with Enviromental operating conditions ...MAZDA Schedule #1 for both Mexico of Japan built says to I = inspect. Has been that way for years regarding the Skyactiv engines.

Brake fluid is due every two years of 40,000kms / 24,000 miles.

The overall braking system is very important to the safety of you & your vehicle,

In my market, Spark plugs on the Turbo engine are due every 60,000kms or ??? miles ( maybe 36,000 miles ??)
