2018 Infotainment System Upgrade?

2018 Infotainment System Upgrade?
I have a 2018 CX5 GTR. Just bought a 2021 CX5 for my wife. The infotainment system is much better all around. It would be awesome if Mazda would upgrade/update the clunky DOS-like user interface for previous model years. I just tried to manually update my operating system and it says I have the most current with version 70.00.100 NA N.

You have a '19 right? They didn't make a GTR in '18. Without ripping the system out I don't think you have a path to update. The 21 uses a completely new OS and larger screen. We went from a 19 GT to a 21 GTR. I like the new larger screen and OS for the most part, but wish it was touchscreen and that they hadn't made some changes such as not being able to change Sirius XM stations from the steering wheel as I could in my 19.
