from the Mazda website it seems the wheels are 19” but when I look online at tire rack they sit 1718 and 20” options only. Is there an issue installing 18” wheels? I want to get grey alloy wheels to match the dark grey cx5.

 

No problem, as long as you use tires that match the overall diameter of the original 17"/19" rubber.
