Purchased my 2017 CX-5 in May and with the recent cold snap in the northeast I have noticed my windshield making tons of cracking and shifting noises as I drive. I know that things shrink and make more noises in the cold, but my previous car was a 17 year old VW and I never remember hearing my windshield make these noises. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this. Thanks

 

Something similar on my 2013. Since day one I've noticed right side of windshield makes noise like rain hitting it when I'm in a crosswind coming from the right side of the car. Weird; I've just learned to ignore it as it doesn't happen that often.
