Anyone here on the forum order and install stainless steel skid plates . These are for looks only and just wanted to determine if anyone ordered and installed these.

I see several on ebay and amazon sites.

Any input would be great.

Wow !! Where do you take your cx-5 that it needs armor plated protection ! ?!?

 

The ones I have seen on line are only for looks and not functional. Most are "stainless steel" and just screw onto the bottom half of our black ABS bumpers.

I did find one that is made of ABS material and painted silver.

Just trying to find someone that might have ordered and installed and any issues.

I can't see abs being anywhere near as functional as metal . Considering the application and place it's being mounted ...
