2015 CX-5 with 21k miles....should I buy
Hey all. I'm looking to upgrade my 2004 Mazda 3 and have been eyeing the CX-5. I've considered new, but saw a real nice looking 2015 model pre-owned. It's a sport model, so missing a couple of features I'd like, especially a backup camera. I can add that later though. It's got leather seats, which seems rare in a sport. My one concern is that it has 21k miles after only a year. It has a one owner clean carfax, so it wasn't a rental. The asking price is just over $19k. I would hope to get it closer to $18 or $18,500. Should the high mileage be a concern? Would it be that much more to go new with the sport model?

Thanks for the feedback!
The sale date was 2/16/2015. According to the carfax it looks like they put on about 2k miles per month and had all the regular maintenance.
I only put on about 10k miles per year on my car now, so the warranty would probably stretch to the 3 year mark or get close.

ohh and yes, thats not a bad deal. we just got a brand new sport 16 in and the sticker is 21k. thats no screen and a manual transmission. i do not believe you can add an oem mazda screen after the new radio is put in. it has to be a assembly line install.

It is not CPO. I asked the the dealer rep about it in an email and he didn't give much of an answer as to why it was not other than "some cars have all their maintenance records and don't need the certification". That didn't really make sense to me.
As far as the backup cam. I was under the impression it was a fairly simple install using the OEM harness and camera. There is a screen in the car, just no cam hooked up.

It's not CPO. Not sure why, the dealer didn't really say. They just said the remaining warranty would remain. There is a screen, which I thought could be used for a backup cam with OEM harness and camera.
