Question 2014 CX5 Gas Mileage & buzzing issue

I've had my CX5 for about a month and have 600 miles on it. According to the on-board electronics, I'm getting 21.3 miles to the gallon. Sticker said to expect 27mpg city. I don't drive fast, take off at lights, etc. Anybody else seeing less than advertised MPG?
Also, i have heard several people mention a buzzing that comes from the left front speaker. I'm hearing it too and it's not when the music is playing because i hear it when radio is off. Could be from the front speaker area but sounds like it could be coming from the area around the power windows. Hard to pinpoint really. Anybody else experiencing this?

I took a trip to the Gulf Coast. All hwy driving at an avg speed of 75. 240 miles round trip. Dashboard jumped from 21.1 to 22.0 AVG MPG. I calculated MPG the old fashion way and i got 24 MPG on the highway. Not what Mazda is claiming

Never believe car salesperson. Mazda never claimed 41 mpg.

I am averaging 35 mpg but I mostly drive highway. And I put 600 miles on it in a week.

To check city I started a new "trip" on Friday to see what I would average and I am getting 28.

After 1500 miles I am only averaging 26 MPG's at best, and my driving is 90% highway.

As with most cars it can take a few thousand miles for the engine parts to bed in and your gas mileage to improve.

Also driving at 75mph is not going to give you top gas mileage. Try driving 55 or 60.

75-80 mph steady highway speeds, 30 mpg. (w/2.0L awd version).

After my first week of mostly around town driving, very short to 20 mile trips in very cold weather and winter mix gas, and I'm getting 23.3mpg. Pretty much what I expected and close to the 24/30 Mazda claims for the 2.5L AWD models.
