Default When accelerating vehicle takes too long to accelerate

Hi everyone,
I understand very little about cars, but today I was at the dealership and they changed my rdf - rear differential fluid on my car and I noticed my cars RPM isn’t going through as smoothly and takes a long time for my car to rev up the engine. Just wondering what they have done wrong? I drive CX-30 2023.
Happy to hear your thoughts!
thanks

Welcome to the forum

Changing the fluid would not have an effect as you described? Are you sure they did not do any other service? look at your service order and see if they did an ECU update?

Ok well we have to conclude a coincidence issue popped up.
So the first thing to do is a full and complete ECU scan.
This is more than just a simple looking for engine trouble codes.
If how you are explaining it is correct it will show in the ECU.

I would also recommend that you go along a test drive with the service writer or advisor and indicate exactly what you are experiencing.

How many miles did you put on a 2023 model car where it needed the rear differential fluid changed so soon?

By the way, I hope that you found out the cause of your acceleration issue.

my recommendation or if it were mine would be at the first oil and filter service so about 3-5 k miles. But to any customer at least at 30k miles .
you do realize that differentials do break in almost like both engines and transmissions.

3 to 5 thousand miles for a differential service? Sheesh!
