They say warranty void as is been chip by a stone, which i find it a bit unacceptable. Is that small sensor that fragile...they should had done a better job on it as i have no problem on my Honda at all.

The Sensor on my mazda3 lasted years without much issue. I wonder if they are making them solfer. A stone chip on a front bumper is normal wear and tear.
I wonder if there's a market for some sort of protector glass or plastic for these things.

Question Ongoing Issue From New

Issue first occurred B4 first service. Since then is occurs regularly but only when the car has been parked in, or driving into, the sun. Makes no difference if winter or summer.
We are nearly at 70,000 klm now and dealer has not been able to resolve even when I took the car in for service with the error displaying.
They have replaced sensors (all under warranty - Thank You) but still can not stop the message.
This is my only issue with this car and is clearly the best Mazda since my first in 1980.
Any Advice??
