Hello, I ordered and put a downpayment on a cx-30 s with no special features 5 weeks ago. I have heard nothing back from the dealership. At four weeks, I called to see if perhaps they had any updates. He said he would check for a vin number. When he called back 20 minutes later, he was apologetic that he didn't have one. He then went on to say that the models in that trim level were really scarce and that he could sell me the next trim level up. So, two questions to anyone who has ordered a car through mazda: #1 How long until you received a vin number? #2 Is it really that difficult to get a cx-30 s? Asking because I am not sure whether I should be concerned about whether the dealership is telling the truth or not.
