How long does the keyless battery stand
Do I have to renew the battery every year?

 

Mine in two Mazdas lasted three years.

I found a YouTube video on how to change them and found the batteries on Amazon for something like 5 for $7.00.

Two things I love about Mazda is how reliable they are and how cheep many of the fixes are!

 

Depending on how often you use the remote, where you keep the remote when driving & parked up will vary its life. Expect 12 - 24 months life.

 

It actually didn't cross my mind to consider the battery life of my key. Thanks for this insight.
