Cable managment - 2016 Sport
Hi all -
I recently installed Carplay in my 2016 Mazda CX3 Sport. After watching a few videos, the consensus was that I run the wire down through the driver side panel by the gas pedal then to the hub. Everything is plugged in and working but am a bit uneasy that its so close to the heating and cooling tube (sorry unsure of name). Does anyone have any recommendations on where to zip tie or protect the cable/tubes? Or did I completely miss the boat on running them elsewhere (hopefully not, it was a pain to do).
Thanks all!

There are so many better places to run cables and it is more a commonsense exercise. Don't run any cable that will interfere with any mechanical controlled run and cable near a heat producing source. Don't run a cable that will interior with the normal operation of driving the vehicle. Secure and length of cable so they don't dangle.
Lastly DONT really on you tube as the authoritative HOW-TO do anything!! Most are not done by experienced, experienced trained or by the actual company that supplied the parts and components. They have no problem in accepting that their poor information may cause negative results.
