2018 CX-3 TPMS and S
I bought my 2018 CX-3 in Texas in 2018 brand new. In the last 2 years I have been having issues with the TPMS and SCBS Malfunction lights coming on. Took it in to have it looked at and just a slight tire pressure issue. Then one of my tires blew and bent the rim. Because it was going to cost an arm and a leg to get a Mazda tire and rim, I went to discount tire where they persuaded me into getting all 4 tires and rims from them so they can guarantee them. A year later another tire blew out of nowhere. Had it replaced. No rim damage.
I had to move back to Chicago where the weather is a bit colder. The TPMS and SCBS light came on again out of nowhere so I took it to a Mazda dealership. They couldn’t replicate it but wound up finding a faulty TPMS sensor on the left rear side. They kept my car for over a week to fix it and they gave me a loaner car. My car doesn’t even have 20k miles on it yet!
2 weeks go by and it’s snowing outside and the SCBS Malfunction light comes on again this time by itself. When I click on the message it says to put the defroster on for a while til the message goes away or take it back to the dealership. I turned the car on and off a few times to see if that would help and it didn’t. Supposedly they fixed the TPMS issue but now we are back to the SCBS issue.
Does anyone else have this issue also? It’s getting pretty annoying that the issue cannot be fixed.
