Question Wiring in a new fuse block

This is just a food for thought question on my B series. As you know, on my previous postings of the wiring issues, it has had for the past year of me owning it. I was wondering, if it was possible to just take the whole fuse block out, and wire in it a new one. I have a tin grille as well, that truck is known for fuse block issues, and burning the truck to the ground. From looking at that fuse block, which is a nightmare to wire in a new one. However comparing it to the one in my B Series, it seems a bit easier to do.

Would it be more feasible to wire in a used one in for my B series? Instead of wiring in a fuse holder for a burnt out fuse in the block.

Do note my truck is the bare bones version so no A/C, nor Power steering. So that would be less wiring for me to do if I were to replace it.

If you replace the fuse block, find a good used Mazda B truck fuse block and use it......and the wiring harness that is attached to it. Don't cut wires and crimp or solder in a new fuse block......that's what I would do anyway.

Alright, thanks man. I might be looking at doing that over the weekend, or the weekend after that. Pretty sure a couple local junkyards near me got some B Series, laying around. I'll have at look at their wiring harness's in the dash, and the fuse block. My truck's interior is pretty mint, so going from an amazing looking to something that has been beaten up after 30+ years of use, is something I would rather not have to look at. So I'll be on the hunt for some mint ones out of a truck.

You can use your mint fuse block cover......the donor fuse block would not be seen, until you open the fuse block door........plus, most of the fuse blocks are in decent shape, if no one has tampered with it.
