Was wondering if it was possible to put the transmission that is on my 99 Mazda B2500, onto my 90 Ford Ranger. Ranger is a 2.4 l Mazda is a 2.5 l. Both 4 cylinder Manual Transmission Trucks. Same engine except Mazda has 2 coil packs, and bigger cylinders. Same engine

 

Both of the trucks have Ford engines, as after the 1993 model year, here in the North American market, they just rebadged Ford Rangers with Mazda badges. I have never messed with those trucks, so I can't say for sure if the trans will swap or not.
