Thermostat housing issues

The thermostat housing on my Mazda Bravo keeps leaking. I have removed the whole assembly 2 times with new gaskets and heat resistant silicone and it still leaks. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Replace it. Look for cracks or corrosion.

Take off the thermostat housing. Check it for absolute straightness/flatness in several directions. If not absolutely flat, sand it flat with a piece of wet/dry on a sheet of glass (or buy a new thermostat housing), then wash off, dry, and install using new gasket and thin coat of RTV. Allow the RTV to set up for a few hours before adding coolant.

Yes I’ve done all of what you’ve said and still It leaks. I think I’ll just replace the whole assembly. Thanks

I also jack up the front right corner of the truck, gravity helps keep the thermostat in place that way.
