Mazda BT 50 & Pickup TrucksWhile Mazda may not be known for their trucks, they have always produced quality reliable trucks for both hauling cargo, or simply crusing. BT 50
The bench seat in our 90 B is getting mashed down on the drivers side. Is there a relatively simple way to build the cushion back up to normal? Alternately, what bucket seats from other vehicles are an easy retrofit? I have access to junkyards locally and can get seats from many other vehicles. Finding decent buckets or a bench from a B2200 will be nearly impossible probably. Thats why we want to consider retrofit from other vehicles that would likely be more available.
I have not obtained quotes for re-do. There is a shop nearby but I'm sure the quote would be high. Maybe I'll stop in and see. I'll report back if I do
I had my 1989 B2200 regular cab truck bench seat reupholstered last year and I have enjoyed it! Made all of the difference for sure. Others have complimented me on how nice it looks when they see it now.

Not a great picture........but I had to keep a cushion on the driver's side.......
On all three of my past owned Mazda pickups which all came with bench. One got a set of Pinto Buckets, one 70s Camaro high back buckets and my very upgraded. B2000 got a set of Carbeau’s.
They all took a little work making the rail fit, a little wood working but easy to do. Sorry the only easily these days to obtain is the Cerbeau’s.
