Default no heat and no air

ok ya know when i bought this truck for 300.00 i want really concerned wether it had air or not, however come to find when i turn on the heat nothing comes out of the vents. so i was thinkg maybe its the blower motor,, but i have no freaking idea where that thing is... any help??[&:] 84 b2000

have we looked under the dash on the pass side? its in a big black plastic box

yeah i found the blower motor but what excatly do i do to figure out what is causing nothing to come out of the vents

You first need to check the fuses. If they are ok, then proceed to the wiring going to the blower motor. While using a voltmeter or test light, see if you have power there with the key on. It only has two wires going to the blower motor. If no power there, then you will need to trace back to a switch or blower resistor for example.
