I am looking for a replacement engine to go in it.If i could get my hands on another 2600i block i would put it back in.Maybe a 350, 302, or a 351 ifI could find out how to make it work withmy tranny? My truck is a 1989 Mazda B2600i 4x4, I LOVE THIS TRUCK. I want to know if i put V-8 in it will it bolt up to my tranny?? HELP. Where would be a good place to find a 2.6 I Engine.Or will any other engine bolt up to the tranny thats a good one..?? PLEASE HELP

 

if you go with a V8, you'll have to change trannys, keep it stock, go to citymotorsupply.com hope this helps. these little pick-ups are tough but if you put a V8 in it, it'll be fast, maybe too fast. to much power, twist everything up. then you could go down the road on three wheels. just a thought.
