Howdy Guys....Im a new member and just got a 1991 B2200. It has a rebuilt motor and I have the paperwork showing it was installed 60k ago so Im gonna R&R the timing belt just to be safe. I'm assuming a new water pump would be smart since the timing gear run by the belt is on the water pump.....RIGHT?


How can I tell which motor I have in case the rebuilder used a different block?


Is there anything else I need to replace besides the timing belt, water pump and gaskets?...how about the tensioner pulley?


I'm looking forward to becoming a member of this group and hope all you guys are like a family just like my motorcycle and GEO METRO group is. Noting like a bunch of good guys helping each other and passing it on.
