Default Mazda B4000 motor swap

I’ve been swapping the motor in my 04 B4000. Just putting another stock 4.0 in it. I have the motor married to the tranny but can no longer turn it from the main pulley on the front of the motor. If I loosen the transmission bolts it turns no problem , but as soon as I tighten them back up it won’t turn. Any ideas?
thanks

Is the torque convertor bolted to the flex plate?

Update:
Not entirely sure what the problem was , we pulled the motor back out and set it back in there. I’m assuming maybe TC wasn’t set all the way in transmission ?
Either way I think we’re pretty much in the home stretch now. Just got to bolt up the exhaust , intake , the insane amount of wires and hoses and should hopefully be good to go.

You should change your username to Penissemipro IMO.

I have another question about the same truck. We got the motor in , everything runs good expect a small exhaust leak and a few hoses we’ve got crossed up. But, I do have a brake line busted. It’s a the metal one that runs from the rear driver side up the truck like behind the gas tank. Do they make pre formed metal lines ? Or just lengths of line you have to cut ?

thanks

Go to a Mazda dealer parts department and get the factory pre-bent brake line(s)......much easier to install. You could check with Dorman (aftermarket supplier) and see if they have it also.....would be of the same quality or pretty close, but cheaper than Mazda.
Also, check the online parts from one of the Mazda dealers, like Jim Ellis here, and google the part number to see who has the best prices.....
