Default Mazda B2200 Bogs and has no power when stepping on gas

91 Mazda b2200 Manual trans,carberated.I put new fuel pump(manual), new fuel filter Does not fill while running but will fill while sitting.Wires cap rotor plugs new 6months ago.Seems like its starving for fuel.Idles good but when I excelerate bogs and chugs no power.Any help out there

You need to do a fuel volume and pressure check to the carb.

These can get rust/sediment in the fuel tank, they're old, not uncommon. Check for fuel delivery TO the fuel pump. Possibly the fuel line or the tank will need to be cleaned or replaced.

I had the fuel filter on backwards.So getting gas now.But still have the same problem with it bogging out

engine off look into the carb and give it a shot of fuel with the linkage ,you should see a squirt of fuel if not the accelerator pump is not working,also the manual say there maybe an electric pump in the tank on some models to assist the manual pump.
but i suspect the accelerator pump is not working and your not getting the extra fuel needed to accel.

accelerator pump is #9 in the pic.
