This reply is late but, My last car was a 67 olds and the passenger side head gasket went on it, instead of doing it myself I put this stuff called Therma Gasket and within the 30 minutes or so the white smoke stopped. It's only like $120. Definately cheaper than paying the 3grand the shop is going to charge. The video is on youtube if you want to look it up. Just throwing it out there.
