So I took my front grille off and closed my hood and not she is locked down tight. The hood release latch moves but is nowhere near contacting the hood hook…….meaning the latch is way higher than the hook……which seems wrong. The hood is sitting flush to the fenders so it is in the proper location and not down too far.
The hood does not even wiggle a frogs hair. I mean she seems locked down tight. I tried tapping (2x4 and dead blow) the hood hook thinking it was just jammed down too far but no luck.
Any help would be appreciated.
second pic is me pushing the latch release up which barely moves and does nothing……nor is it grabbing anything.
