Default eng swap
Will a 1987 B2000 engine go into a 1984 B2000 without to much trouble. Both standard trans. I will swap manifolds if nec. Is it the same basic block/head configuration?

I can answer my own question now. NO! The 84 is a timing chain engine. The 87 has a Tbelt.
