Default Dead B2300

2007 Mazda B2300. Base model. Trying to find a parasite cicuit in passenger side fuse box I don't know what I did that now not even lights on cluster come on. Does not do anything at all. Learned about anti-theft but even without having power locks there is a PATS small module underneath the key switch. Did a lot of testing and concluded that I killed the PCM. Sent PCM for repair and they said they could not repair it. So I did get a refurbished one programmed with VIN #. Installed it and still the same. I just learned about the BCM wich I allways thought it was a regular fuse box but is not. My question is if this would cause all that and if I get a used one would need any kind of programming. Thanks, Herman

Unfortunately, I have not worked on the "Ford" Mazda's very much at all........but I do know that some of the models do have issues similar to what you're experiencing. My advice would be to go to "The Ranger Forum" and poke around for more information on the BCM and your trucks symptoms for the battery drain.......I would bet that the Ranger trucks suffer with these known issues as well. The 2007 B2300 is basically a Ford Ranger with Mazda emblems and trim.

If you do find the issue(s)......please update your thread here so other members here can benefit from your added info. Thanks and if I find out any info, I will post it here as well. Good luck!
