car alarm

My girlfriends truck was broken into and now she wants an alarm. Well my question is can you put an alarm on the truck with manual door locks?

There was one on my 87 B2000 before I got it...

The door switches are still present, but I yarded out the wiring harness....

The previous owners had removed the alarm, but left the wiring.....
