I have a 99 B4000 getting worse than bad fuel mileage and have decided to start changing out emission components. So, I got me a Chilton's manual and went out to O'Reileys and got this EGR valve. Just spent 2 hours looking at my engine with airbox and all that stuff removed and I cannot find an EGR valve. It is not where Chilton shows it to be which is right under the throttle butterfly in the intake. I got pissed and put it back together and went home. I'll try another less cold day. Does my engine the 4.0 V-6 even have an EGR valve?
