So I need a new master cylinder I ordered it from my local parts store and it’s not what’s in the truck now. I have a 2007 b2300 but I had them look up a 2007 ranger and it looks like what’s in the truck is from a ranger not Mazda. I need help

There could be different brake master cylinders for the 2.3, 3.0, and 4.0 engine sizes. And or for automatic or manual, and maybe some don't have power brakes. Those Mazda trucks are made on the same assembly line as those Rangers, somebody just made a mistake, take back and have parts guy look up for Mazda. Sometims incorrect information gts entered into the computers, and is a dickens to get corrected.

 

The new one is for a Mazda I believe and the one on the truck I think is from a ranger
and what’s the nipple on the left side of the new one

 

I know nipples, but have never seen one like that !!!
