Hi all.

I bought a used 2001 4WD B3000 and did not receive a key for the spare tire lock. Is there a way to lower the spare tire without the key or a way to remove the spare tire lock?

 

So your regular key doesn't work with that? It does on Mrs. Cusser's Yukon.

 

I had the same problem on my 2000 2wd so I went to a locksmith and he had the key that fit it but it wouldn't work so he said he would drill it out.It wasn't too hard to do but maybe the key will work on yours and you won't have to.
